A lone seagull couldn't care less about the violent explosions all around him

Hi all, and thanks SOOO much for the thoughtful comments, the favorites, well-wishes, and tremendous score! I took this image with/for my wife on our first anniversary, so now she can be doubly happy with it knowing it was my first blue!

So sorry about the title being confusing! I've not entered many challenges, and VERY few lately, so I forgot that the description doesn't show until after voting. I'm sure "Uninterested", without describing it as the seagulls POV was rather strange. I really appreciate all the support

What power!, when you think about it, these rocks do a great job at holding up against rough water for all those thousands of years. Congrats for this, simple and nice.

Wonderful landscape photo, water motion and even more amazing the gull stood still for 5sec. Unphased is another adjective you could have used...

Curious choice of title. The rocks are uninterested in what the waves want?

Nice movement and light. Your vantage point puts the viewer in the midst of the action.

very effective use of shutter speed (that seagull is taking the ****! lol)

I really like the colors and sharpness, but this shutter speed isn't working for me in this context.

Very apt title. Raw power against solid rock...whatever! Just the right shutter speed to give motion, but not so much as to fluff it over like so many are done now.

Interesting title !!! to a gorgeous shot. Processing is top notch , the shutter speed you used is perfect IMO. wonderful back to bump to a 9

Colors on the cliff wall is brilliant. Nice crisp image. Good effect using slower shutter speed to get blur on the waves, "showing" the power of the waves. Hope you didn't get wet, great point of view (looks like you were in a precarious spot.) Good luck on the voting.
