The skater looks weightless. Nice!
04/21/2002 07:47:00 PM
cool, not that creative
04/21/2002 01:38:00 AM
Hmm, not a bad shot. It could be lightened up a bit. Nice compositiong though.
04/20/2002 09:23:00 AM
With a picture of this subject material is that the skater does actually stop at the top of his jump to come back down. Is that what occured or did the photographer actually catch him while in motion? Probably better without the other dude in the background.
04/20/2002 08:58:00 AM
Good framing. I just wish the guy wasn't standing there.
04/19/2002 08:40:00 PM
Next time, shoot from the other side, then you can see their face. Over all, pretty good stopped motion.
04/19/2002 12:35:00 PM
Nice frameing a little dark though trying to brighten it would have left it very washed out.
04/19/2002 07:47:00 AM
Picture fits criteria but the lighting and angle aren't very good.
04/19/2002 07:31:00 AM
Nice angle!
04/19/2002 01:30:00 AM
i like in the air shots. though the background lighting and time of day may not be perfect.
04/19/2002 01:15:00 AM
Great shot, I wish I couldn't see the side of the ramp
04/18/2002 08:14:00 PM
You definitely stopped the motion. I wish the exposure were a little brighter. Nice and sharp. Good job.
04/18/2002 08:08:00 PM
If the lighting wasn't so dark this would be an awesome photo. Even so, it is still a very good photo.
04/18/2002 12:15:00 PM
Just a little dark and uninteresting background/sky
04/18/2002 11:16:00 AM
Nice catch, but the exposure's neither here nor there. I'd have metered off the sky to get a nice silhouette instead of the overall flat look. A bit unstraight, as well.
04/18/2002 10:03:00 AM
Good stop action, nice focus. I would have preferred to see the face of the skater.
04/17/2002 11:47:00 PM
a bit dark, can't tell if he's white or not...
04/17/2002 11:33:00 PM
Very nice shot. The time of day this shot was taken really added to the photo, with the sky fading as it is.
04/17/2002 04:19:00 PM
Nice composition, but the angle to the sun has put the subject into shadows.
04/17/2002 03:18:00 PM
Well composed shot. I only wish the contrast between the jumper and the sky was greater. If the rollerblader's shirt was bright white against the blue sky this photo would be closer to a 10.
04/17/2002 11:06:00 AM
Nice shot, and good timing.
04/17/2002 10:55:00 AM
good shot! it is a bit dark though. i would have preferred to blow out the sky a bit more so we could see the rider better. Levels could have helped a lot.
04/16/2002 09:15:00 PM
whos the skater i rollerblade myself--its a goof picture is he skating trs? who took this photo
04/16/2002 08:55:00 PM
This would be an 8 or 9 if a bit brighter.
04/16/2002 06:32:00 PM
or rollerblade, for that matter. Would've liked it better without the guy on the platform, but that probably wasn't possible. I think it would also look better with a less overcast sky. Nice photo
04/16/2002 05:37:00 PM
I almost want to shoot that fruit booter, but since I'm not scoring on subject matter and there is no flags in the picture you get a good score.
04/16/2002 02:29:00 PM
Great action, but washed out a bit.
04/16/2002 01:26:00 PM
Good stopped action. Picture is too dark, though.
04/16/2002 12:53:00 PM
great action, too bad it's so dark and muddy
04/16/2002 09:45:00 AM
This appears a bit too underexposed.
04/16/2002 09:20:00 AM
Another image I liked a lot but needed more contrast to get a higher vote. It just seemd a bit washed out.
04/16/2002 06:49:00 AM
Very nice! Would be better w/o the shadow covered guy in the background, though.
04/16/2002 05:42:00 AM
I couldn't get the guys to jump that high. Nice job.
04/16/2002 05:24:00 AM
too dark
04/15/2002 09:57:00 PM
Nice and crisp, Nice job!
04/15/2002 07:35:00 PM
Great job freezing that :)
04/15/2002 04:21:00 PM
good original composition and stopped dead,
04/15/2002 02:50:00 PM
A little dark, but an otherwise crisp and very great picture.
04/15/2002 02:08:00 PM
Good creativity. Boarder is a little dark. Nice composition.
04/15/2002 01:17:00 PM
Cool shot, but maybe you should have shot several more and got the lighting right.
04/15/2002 01:13:00 PM
nice shot,.
04/15/2002 09:55:00 AM
I would have liked it better from the front, and not so dark.
04/15/2002 09:38:00 AM
seems a little dark
04/15/2002 09:15:00 AM
Wish we had skate ramps here like that. Great stop motion, but the colors seem a little washed out.
04/15/2002 08:54:00 AM
I like this entry! The composition of this photo is very nice. I wish I could see the skater from the other side of the platform. I, traditionally, don't care for photos of people from the rear. I can't explain this one, but I believe the contrast is slightly off somehow. I suppose it's possible that you were shooting towards the sun maybe...
04/15/2002 07:26:00 AM
great shot
04/15/2002 07:03:00 AM
nice, but i wonder what using a flash would have done...
04/15/2002 06:50:00 AM
I really like this photo as it shows stop action so well. I think my only suggestions would be to crop it a bit higher so it's more sky and a little less ramp so the focus is on the subject and a bit brighter.
