 Early morning at Derwent Water...it was supposed to be a sunrise shoot but it took so long for the sun to burn through the mist/fog that we had to find other stuff to shoot in the meantime!!

Ran it through silver efex pro to convert to black and white

Sitting at 7.3507 at the moment and I still can't believe how well this shot is doing! I have a passion for being outdoors with my camera but because of my health I very rarely get the chance to do so. My best friend and photography buddy 21.gif Ecce Signum is my link to opportunities like this...or maybe I should say my driver? ;-) It's good to have friends...even if they aren't happy you're beating their highest score ;-)

Every time I look at this, I'm amazed by it T. To me, it's as though the poles are floating in mid air and the jetty is slowly, inexplicably becoming transparent.

There aren't many images I would describe as an 'experience', but this is extraordinarily so.

I love the calmness I feel when I look at this shot. I think the muted color, the reflections, and the way the sky and water blend together communicate stillness and mystery. One of my favorites of the challenge.
