I REALLY liked this. Thought for certain it would ribbon. Still, a very nice finish, and (honestly) should have at least beaten mine! Take your wife out for dinner.

This is the best flower pedal shot in the challenge. Its got motion, its not static, nice lighting. Would love to see the set up.

Bright colors work well against the dark backgroud. Lack of three dimensional cues contributes to a graphic effect, like a cartoon or painting.

My pick for yellow - 8
I always wonder how these kind of shots are executed so well with basic editing.. perfect black background, a flower standing on the stem.. I would really love to see a shot of your setup after the challenge is over!

I am about 30% of the way through voting on the images for this challenge, but I am already sure that this one will ribbon. I imagine that you are sitting on a score somewhere in the 6.75 range right now. Great colors and wonderful creativity. I am seeing some pixelation with some of the petals, but I don't think that it will be enough to significantly detract from your score. From me, a 7.
