cloned out some sensor dust
exported to PS
topaz adjust
neat image
90% b/w gradient layer
remove more sensor dust
added some gaussian blur to sky
crop, resize, save for web

I actually don't mind the blurred people images. My focus was instead drawn to the roofline, which shows quite a lot of blur and halo.

A little dark haloing around the roofline, but otherwise, I like the desaturated, more subtle look of this.

Actually I really like the ghosting of the people in this, but the haloing around the roof and steeple (although sort of ironic given the subject) stop me from giving this a 7.

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

couragous nearly B&W HDR, Very very good indeed. An suggestion not a critiscism perhaps if the people had been present for only one of the exposures it would look even better
