The milkweed bug nymph. He was the last of a huge group of bugs on the pod of the milkweed. I noticed them a few days ago when I was mowing and knew I wanted to come back to get a shot of them. When I returned, they were all gone but this one little guy. He watched me for a while, seemed to clap his front feet and moved to the top where a seed was setting forth to fly. He caught a ride on it and flew away with the seed! That's one way to know where the next years sprouts will be.

OMG .. he must be absolutely tiny .. its a brilliant catch .. :)
and an amazing story .. fancy catching a ride on a seed .. insects .. surprising little creatures .. !!
