I imagine it isnt crisp enough to meet the challenge. Whats cool is how deep the dof actually is...considering I was shooting at 2.8. Fisheye's are FUN!

Great use of the fisheye. What a fun lens to have but have you noticed that it's kinda hard to come up with non-standard type shots. Well done.

I love this distorted view.

Wild angle, the B&W is the best. 10!

This is a really cool idea but the contrast or the lighting or something is out of control, it's just a little funky but I really like the concept
06/11/2004 05:22:50 PM
Woah? Looks like the view of some drunk dude trying to get to his flat. Very cool perspective. Fisheye lens? Too bad that second stair is out of focus.
06/11/2004 02:06:12 PM
Very unique entry, and absolutely stunning.

cool shot

Nice contrast, great textures. I love the distortion on the stairs. Beautiful piece of art. It me of an Escher drawing.

Nice Fisheye
06/09/2004 06:54:29 PM
Love this photo and tilte. The fish-eye effect gives it a story-book appearance.

I'm not going to say much because there is not much to say, PERFECT, this shot has become one of my all time favorite photograph, EVER !
06/08/2004 12:31:32 PM
This picture makes me dizzy....nice shot though.
06/08/2004 12:59:18 AM
Wonderful composition, almost Escher-like. 10.
06/07/2004 07:26:51 PM
Really excellent submission for this challenge in many respects. I love all the angles. You have a great eye. Good luck - 9
06/07/2004 05:58:54 PM
artistic composition nice dof
06/07/2004 05:35:56 PM
This is crazy--makes me dizzy. Reminds me of David Bowie in Labyrinth.
06/07/2004 05:19:35 PM
If this was in "unusual perspective" I'd have scored it an 8 or 9....

I think this has real nice commercial potential if blown up larger, to poster-size.

06/07/2004 03:54:10 PM
very escher...
06/07/2004 03:03:01 PM
Remind me Vertigo, the movie. Love it
06/07/2004 02:22:56 PM
I've got a bad case of virtigo... but seriously this is great. It's a wonderful take on the challenge theme and one of my top choices.
06/07/2004 09:57:38 AM
This is one of my favorite shots in this challenge. Not only is this photo crisp and clear throughout, but it also shows a strong sense of style and creativity. Really nice job.
06/07/2004 09:56:12 AM
This is a classic Escher style - really creative to implement it photographically, and the b/w is perfect for it.
06/07/2004 09:55:32 AM
Very Escher-like. Wow. I'm not wild about this high of contrast normally, but I think that the more I look at it, it really fits this image. Let me know if you make a print of this available. It's really, really cool. 10
06/07/2004 06:01:45 AM
Nice composition. The use of a very wide angle lens helps to stay in focus indeed.
Anyway the first step seems slighly blurry IMO. I had be nice to see sharply the wooden texture of it.
06/07/2004 02:53:22 AM
This is fantastic. Great composition and the black and white really focuses your attention on the shapes and curves that make this such a strong and compelling image. If I could vote, I'd give it a 10. I hope you win.
06/07/2004 12:31:33 AM
Awesome distortion! Looks like something Escher would draw.
Fisheye lens, or digital warp?
06/07/2004 12:26:46 AM
Very interesting perspective
