I always wanted to try one of these and finally figured out how to roll the PostIt notes in order to do it. I initially wrap each of the notes, in three different shades of pink, around a regular stick pen. Then I wrapped then again around the smaller circumference of a screw driver. I made the heart out of the lightest shade of pink from two PostIts. Setting it up was a bit daunting...it took a while and I used the darkest shade of pink around the heart and went to the next lighter shade and then the third shade.
Shot with camera on tripod with the PostIts on my light box. Used the ambient light of the light box and a background room flourescent light. Used the camera timer as my camera is still going goofy with the remote on. Got to try to figure out what is wrong because I cannot even think of getting what ever might be wrong repaired.
Post:
Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0.
CW rotation and 6 crops.
Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation.
Adjust sharpness.
Spot edit dust.
Resize.
USM.

| Not original but well done nonetheless. I like the progression of shades of pink through the image. I don't think I have the patience to arrange all those bits of paper so artfully ;-) |
