 I decided to take part in this challenge at the last minute. Wanted to include a bee feeding from the flower head but they only stayed a second or two which did not give time for the plant to stop moving. I risked a hand held shot - the wind was a problem anyway. Played around with depth of field to give the best effect.

Photo seems bland to me. Maybe colors aren't vibrant enough for not crisp focus. 5

...but this is not lavender IMO
