David, I really like this picture. It makes me wish I had taken one of our machines at work. By the way, what product are you machining there?

This one makes me reach for my safety glasses. Only problem is if one wasn't familiar with the subject they might not know what was going on. More of the operation needs to be included to bring a story line to this shot.

Very nice. Wish you hadn't done it in macro though.

Good every-day, real-life action shot. I think maybe that pipe there kidnapped your focus, though. :)

The chips on the right are a little blurry, BUT the ones on the left, and especialy the "center" one are incredible. It gives the picture a 3D fill.

This is very cool. I wish it had more pieces in motion.

not sure what's breaking here but you sure caught it in time.

A different subject than water droplets. The two flying pieces of shaving nicely captures "stopped motion." Looks almost as if they are floating in space.

Focus is a little soft. But it would be hard to get all those little buggers just right. Very interesting subject! Cool...

Superb colours, just needs a slightly shorter focus.

The chips are cool looking (shiny, nice color). If there were more of them...

There is only one point of interest thats in sharp focus, very original idea though

i really like this picture, I wish that you could have gotten in closer on the chips though, also slighty out of focus

The color on that metal is unreal, is it due to heat? I wish I could see more of the lathe so it would be easier to tell what's going on.

You definitely stopped the motion, but the scene is not appealing to me. The job is dominationg the scene and is not well exposed. A different viewing angle may have resulted in less reflected light from the job and a more interesting scene? Please accept this as constructive criticism.

Stunning subject would have been great if rules had allowed 'motion trails'

We have a depth of field issue in this shot. It appears that only one of the 'chips' is in good sharp focus. Point and shoot cameras don't usually focus and set aperture correctly for you in a shot like this. This shot needs either manual focus (probably impossible) or aperture priority mode on your camera to allow a greater depth of field in your image.

You stopped the motion well--but for me the over all is rather uninteresting

Good motion, but the subjects seem a bit too small in the frame to really grab the attention

What a unique idea ! The color is awesome as well as the stop action ! Great work ! I *might* have cropped a bit lower to cut out the top right blurry chip but no biggy:)

Intersting idea, strange composition though. My eye is taken away from the subject by the bright diagonal shape.
