I wanted this to have almost a surreal look to it. I'm going for the artistic look that you might find with a children's book.

*******
hehe - so people are distracted by the processing. Currently, I see a girl and her dog. Before processing, I saw a girl and a dog. I never knew distracting people could be such fun!!!

What a lovely shot - might have benefited scorewise from a less cluttered background - but still quite lovely :- )

You know...that beast has some awfully clean teeth! I'll bet he smells minty fresh unlike my foul Weim.

This is a great image. I would've been very afraid to enter this for fear of being punnished. Congrats on the great score.

Niiiiice JOB, Michelle! The processing really works for this image. I think you got just the effect you were going for. It does look like a children's book come to life. I love it.

Has the book title she is holding been blurred or something? It looks weird.

You got more courage than me, Michelle; I wouldn't have dared do this, though I actually think (of course!) that it OUGHT to be legal... Anyway, apparently it WAS validated, which delights me. Congrats on top 20 with this beguiling image.

Great finish Michelle! You are enchanting folks with the Topaz. They question it, but love it.

Looks like people complain about the processing and then give it a high mark, Michelle! LOL! Congrats on top twenty!

This just has me with my mouth open. Cosy, sweet, and yet maybe things aren't quite what they seem.

Michelle, she looks like a doll -- a beautiful collector's doll! I love the processing on this. Very charming image.

The fur on the dog looks like you took the Topaz too far...if I'm off base, PM me and let me know.

The girl is really cute and well done though.

Interesting PP, but there seems to be a texture floating about. 5

Almost a rockwell moment. The girls skin is beautiful in color and all the other colors compliment her very nicely.

A little too processed for my taste. It's a beautiful image that loses much of its effect because the intense hipass stuff distracts me from the actual content.

This is a VERY well composed shot but it has a strange, almost over processed look (I suspect you used Neat Image) that, to my eye, is a bit distracting

I like the processing, I see you are enjoying the new basic editing rules. Might be cropped a little too tight for my own preferences. The end of her foot and tip of her head being cut off makes the frame seem cramped.
