 Had fun doing this !!
The tough part was getting the appropriate DOF , lots of trial and error , this was at F10.
Filled a small glass dish with water. The dish was placed on colored paper. Then dropped a couple of regular cooking oil drops and waited for them to actually stop moving. Lighting was from natural diffused light. You can actually see the windows reflected in the smaller bubble.
I love the deformation when the two oil drops collided. Cool !

After starting at a horrid 5.45 , I am delighted it is now at 6.3+ after >50 votes (was as high as 6.41). Lets see how
the score develops as we get closer to the finishing line.
Personally , this is one of my all time favs ever (so far at least)

This is AMAZING! This would make a beautiful canvas wall-print for an ultra modern decor, don't you think? Congratulations -- on 8th place -- AND -- for ending up with such beautiful photography in your portfolio (again :)

P.S. It started at 5.45???? OMG... there is no way even a troll should have given this less than a 6!

Superb - there are other entries based on that idea, this one is the best, reaches a real abstraction and is still balanced and elegant by its composition.
