 Bass concert hall in downtown Fort Worth, at about 5 pm on a hazy afternoon.

I had originally entered a portrait of a guy at the Stockyards with an awesome mustache. I was pretty happy with it, but not quite pleased with the background. This one really popped out at me when I started working on it. The portrait was a safer shot, however. This one may be more fun. It is certainly a riskier shot, especially in a freestudy. The only way to know is to throw it against the wall and see if it sticks.

Pre-challenge notes:
I think this is a pretty strong shot, but I am often wrong about my own stuff. Hoping for a mid to high 5 out of this.

Anticipated critiques:
-The banding in the sky may be taken as a flaw, though I tried to use it to add impact. Shooting directly into the sun, even a hazy one, is tough.
-I think some may take the sun for being a over exposed moon.

Post-challenge notes:
AAAAAGGGHHHH!! Missed a 6 by .007!!!

I suppose I really should not complain about what is one of my best showings in a freestudy. That killer freestudy entry is still in me.

I wish I had your problems. Well, I gave it a six. Had I put a little more time and thought into voting, it probably would have gotten a seven from me. Looking more carefully now, it's really quite impressive. (So blame me!)
