Stunning photo. So crisp and clear, and yet so filled with lightning. Just brilliant.

Simply awesome. Nature has really unleashed a light show here - what fury. Very, very well caught.

Great shot. I like the composition of all of the lightening bolts from near to far. It's incredible the way there's a sparkle at each turn in the big bolt. The rooftops add scale & location which works well for me. I would give my left nut for the opportunity to get a shot like this!

This is a great capture for a 34 second exposure. I can never get lightining to be that cooperative for me, but i like to try and capture it. I like fine art photography and this is a good candidate for a fine art composite... Just replace the forground with an interesting silhouette and you would have a winner. :)

Great job!

Thanks to everyone who commented, I loved this shot and just wish it had beat my other two best shots, but I had some great competition so there really is no room for complaints.

I really think this should have placed higher, but what do I know? :)

Again, a very amazing shot IMO. Congratulations on acheiving it and doing well in a challenge with some very stiff competition.

Interesting to see the validation on this shot, as I thought about requesting a review myself. Amazing to believe that you could capture all these strikes at once! I like the rooftops in the photo as well.

To have captured the subtle colors of the clouds as well - it has to be one of the best lightning photos I've seen. This one's a winner for sure!

Wow, did you take this outside? I would be so scared to go out with a tripod and stuff.

To be honest - this just desreves to win hands down. It's brilliant. What a capture - crisp, clear and well composed even given the difficulty of the snap. Very well done. Did you have a starburst filter? Very odd to see them here. :)

I knowcoments of WOW aren't very constructive, but I love this photo and I don't believe I'd change anything about it. WOW! Great shot!
