I'd have to say this was my favorite from the challenge. The textures and colors really separate this from the pack. Not only is the challenge embodied by the contrast of colors, but also the texture. Great job and congrats on the finish.

I like how it's sharp on the left and blurrier in the right, not to mention color and texture fades as well. Lovely shot.

Unusual subject but great in subject projection in the illustration of life and death.

good picture for me - i like the loss of focus on the right of the picture as it makes it look like as its dying its getting lost into infinity. works really well for me

Unlike many of the plant and bug themes in the challenge this picture invokes a struggle to me where part of the leaf is alive but failing fast and rich in color and texture with the other side simply dead.
