Kita

for bob bmartuch ..
these are my processing steps ..
brought jpeg into cs3
duplicated the background layer and did a shadow and highlight on newly duplicated layer ..
created a mask in that layer and erased the shadow/highlight effect from kita's face and arm.
(shift+ctrl+alt+E which creates a new layer above the top selected layer by merging all the visible layers .. )
on the newly created merged layer i did a lucisart/exposure .. i created a mask and erased the lucisart effect from kita's face and arm ..
shift+ctrl+alt+E which i do instead of duplicating the last layer if it has a mask ..
did a nik software/silver efex pro action on new layer ..
silver efex creates a new layer itself, so i then deleted the layer i created for the silver efex to do its action on ..
duplicated the silver efex layer and did a shadow/highlight on it in darker color blending mode.
duplicated the shadow/highlight layer and did a noise ninja ..
duplicated the noise ninja layer and did a smart sharpen ..
duplicated the sharpened layer and did another shadow/highlight ..
(i usually merge a lot of the layers to keep the files smaller but if i do that i usually dont remember wot i did .. lucky i had kept them in this process so i could tell you the steps ..)
then did a acid action .. you can find it at action central
its around the fourth from the bottom of the page urban acid - steven almas
