 I love shooting in the rain, people behave so differently, like getting wet will dissolve them!

I was trying to get a shot that expressed the way people ran from one bit of shelter to the next and took this while crossing the road. My intention wasn't to have it so blurred and I didn't look at it until I transferred it to my computer but I loved what I saw straight away.

This shot did a whole lot better than I expected. I never thought it would break 5!

Looks like you didn't get an in-challenge comment from me. That would be because I gave it a high vote. This got a 7 from me. It conveys busy city activity, everybody rushing to take care of their own priorities.

If I had entered this, I also would have expected a sub-5. Blurred shots are often hard to gauge as to how they will come off with people. I also applaud you for entering something you like, in spite of expecting it to do poorly. Don't you love being surprised?

Great use of motion blur. Combine with grain and you have a very artistic and impressionistic style photo.
