Cafe van Leeuwen Amsterdam.
Yes, his Royal Kiwi, the Photoshop Master, the Digital hero, is now using an old Canon AE1 film camera. Digital is so oldschool.

He only needs some help from his wife now and then. :)

I laughed out loud when I saw this. Two weeks ago I did a shoot with my Pentax 645. After each shot I found myself glancing at the back of the camera, only to be disappointed that the picture didn't magically appear.

Nice treatment of the shot.

So what exactly are they looking at? Great tones and candid moment.

It makes me wonder what they're staring at on back of the film camera. Maybe the little slot where you put the film box end so you can remember what film you have in it? Ah, the good old days. Good composition and nice sepia processing.

Great expressions. Funny too. I would probably destroy the film roll trying to load it nowadays.

I only found one other picture with two people looking at the back of a camera (and yours was much better). Not completely unique, but close.

lol, Anastasia appears to be thing "but there isn't an lcd screen" and Kiwiness is thinking "wow, you press this button, the whole back opens and you put this stuff called film in the back". Great 'staged' candid and I'm liking the (of that age) duotone. Even the wallpaper looks like its from 'that era'

I like the sepia to make the film ages mood... but i dont know if i like the couple pretending to see something on the LCD... mauybe if they were looking for the display,,, scratching heads, etc...
