Beautifully composed. It has a nice weight or heft, the subject and her parcels centered, and her feet on the ground as she gazes into that vague space waiting for the right word to come. Very fine black and white.

I like this Penny.

Ok, the doctor in me forces my eyes to look at why she has more swelling in one ankle than another (usually not good) but, if I force myself out of the professional role, I really like the character of this shot.

Well captioned also ...

I'm not much into poetry (that could change) but for some good street poetry check out Frank O'Hara's Lunch Poems -- poems written during his lunch hour in and around the streets of Manhattan.

The image is excellent. Quite a character study! The void to the right really forces the eye back to your subject. Nice framing too. The big square crop really works.

This is a photo that begs the question "Who is she?" On closer look I see she has a pen in hand and is writing something. Could she be an artist like yourself? Maybe writing some 'street' poetry as you capture street photos?
