 Not sure how this will be interpreted by the voters. This gave me a chance to play with my growing strobist set up, soft box on the cake and flash with blue gel on the back ground. I did taste the cake, choc-orange, delicious, but gave it to my wife to eat :)

Good on you for losing 70 lbs, that is tremendous to say the least. The colors are appropriately vibrant and I really like how the blue is reflected in the plate. The food, especially the ice cream pops because of the color difference. I think that the dof should be a tiny bit deeper, so that some of the strawberries on the cake would be in focus.
