Very Creative. The picture pulls you in.

nice stop action too

Nice idea,.. It could work for the next challenge as well.

Nice idea, though I'm not fond of the execution of it. A different angle would've worked better IMO.

Creative choice of effect. Could be better if you'd rotated the camera, and shot this vertically and caught the whole glass/ vortex, rather than having so much wasted space on the sides.

Be sure to give credit where credit is due, pal.

nice original shot, good lighting

A very interesting idea. Wish I could see the bottom of the funnel, though, and more controlled reflections / better light. A vertical might work better here.

Wow-what a good idea for the stop action challenge too!

cool. maybe a side view would have been more interesitng.

Cool!

very classy shot. how did u get it to spin like that? i wish the water sparkled more.

Perhaps a bit of colour in the liquid would have helped emphasise the swirl?

Nice shot. I like the one I know you took showing more of the side of the vortex better though.

great capture!

I think a vertical shot would have been better for this. That way you could have gotten more of the glass in the shot. It is a great idea, but I think it could have been done better

great lighting, I like the lower half of the glass too, maybe you should have captured the whole glass. Great shoot.

This is a very unique interpretation of the CURVES challenge. Did you, by chance, try a level shot showing more detail of the internal vortex?

Great photo. It is very well focused, centered , and well lit.
04/08/2002 07:00:00 AM
Bet you wish you would have saved this one for motion!

Cropping to the subject would make this immensely more interesting.
04/08/2002 01:21:00 AM
I like this alot. But, I think it would have been more interesting head on instead of from the top. Or maybe if you had pulled back a little. Either way would have added more interest (imo).
