Customers do not buy your product because they want to buy from you, they buy it because they have a problem to solve. Professional salespeople know that the best way to sell is to have the solution to the customer's problem.
A good salesman will be able to take whatever product he has and offer it to the customer as the ideal solution to their problem. Whatever he needs to sell is made to fit. In other words, shoehorned.

I know this will be immediately recognized as mine because of the shoehorn and because I did this once before in a side challenge. I got a lot of good feedback (and some faves) on V1.0:

It will be interesting to see how V2.0 fares in a real voted challenge.

I had a little more difficulty with the background this time. Because of this being basic editing, I could not get the rich dark blue I really wanted without selective editing. I'm pleased with it, though I think I do prefer the first one done with advanced editing.

I did manage to get this shot without blown out glare on the metal this time. I'm improving with my lighting.

Pre-challenge notes:
Hoping for a mid to high 5 on this, with a low 6 as a dream vote.

Anticipated critiques are:
-The shadow under the shoehorn
-The tiny bit of dusty schmutz just in front of the shoehorn. (Darn those basic editing rules!)
-People just not understanding it.

Post challenge notes:
Came in well enough score-wise, making this my highest scoring shoehorn. I think it fell short in the challenge placement because my slogan does not make much sense to those not familiar with the psychology of sales.

I see I got more 6's than anything else, which is very good, but the folks that disliked it seems to be what held it back.

Like the photo, set up and layout but the caption doesn't really de-motivate me.

This took me a couple of seconds but I laughed my butt off when I got it. I love those jokes that take you a couple of seconds. It funny on the DP challenge level too. (A DPC inside joke!)
