damn Amy, my time as the top LB Composer shot lasted 2 days and you pushed the score up quite a bit! Can I say you have a great pair here?

Lovely - The pears are sharp and the chair is blurred...I love it!!!! Great B&W

Love the selective sharpness of the subject, the b/w treatment and... well everything. My pick for blue. 10.

I really like the radial pattern that the point of focus becomes less sharp from. Lensbaby? It really draws the eye right to the subject, which is in great focus. Excellent lighting as well. :) 8 from me.

Very nice still life. Would have worked as well, or better, without so much of the upper part of the chair IMO.

Looks like a touch of lensbaby. The ligth is so pictoresque and narrative, shaping the objects in a wonderful way.

Great textures here. I like the blur on the left edge. Working as a vignette to emphasize and lead the focus where you want it. The chair I recognize from the FS still life shot ;) (none voter in this challenge, just leaving my comments)

I liked the way you masterfully played with light/shadow and texture with excellent bw conversion.
Post Challenge: If it wasn't for the unnecessary blurry mess, this would have fetched full-house from me.

Dammit, now I'm going to have to vote in this challenge so I can give this a ten. It must have been tough deciding whether to enter this in light or dark. I'm sure some people would hammer it either way. The lighting is perfect, and the darkness balances it just right. Very chiaroscuro-a-licious. The textures are fantastic. I think B/W was a good choice as well.

terrific light on the pears and seat of the chair. It looks like you've blurred the back of chair which might be a bit distracting. You could consider cropping some off the top instead. just an idea - good luck - 7

stunning - far too subtle for this crowd I'm afraid, but this is photography and light at it's best. Love this.
