 This photo was taken in a smoked fish factory in a poor community in Manila. The light was created from an old and rusty transparent corrugated plastic sheet above. The haze produced from the fish smoking process has also contributed to this fantastic lighting effect. The young girl was sitting on the stack pile of wood used for cooking.

Back for a bump. This is my favorite of the challenge and I'll be disappointed if this doesn't ribbon. The technicals are well done, but what makes this for me is the emotional content.

A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. A top ten image and a very strong contender for a ribbon. Well done.

The bright colors are an interesting touch here. Your title might be a bit corny but this is an excellent photography. Nicely done
