One of my favorites in the challenge - great catch of the position and excellent use of DOF. |

Surprised to see where this placed. I'm with roz, it should have been on the front page! |

This is great. The sharp focus and excellent eye contact works well...
I really wish that you had cropped a little tighter and/or cloned out the distracting yellow item in the background which slightly ruins a top shot for me... best of luck.
I'd expect to see this in the top 10... |

A beautiful image, richly detailed and well composed showing the beauty and grace inherent in the Border Collie breed. A terrific imge and worthy of a ribbon - great angle and a complete technical and artistic success. Well done.
I try very hard to stay in the third person and be as neutral as possible, but this image brought tears to my eyes. I recently lost my red Border Collie Duke to a stroke - best dog I ever had. He was as intense as he was friendly, happy and fun to be with - he ran Agility courses with boundless energy and concentration always having fun and doing his very best - he was my best friend forever. This image evokes his memory in ways I just can't describe - he was with me for thirteen wonderful and memory filled years and I miss him terribly. Thank you for this wonderful image. |
