Darn! I wanted to see this one with a ribbon too. Both of my favorites made the front page! Congratulations on 8th place -- and for capturing a wonderful photo!

I like this one the best so far. I love the way your little candid subject is dressed. It makes you think it could have been taken in another era. Especially with the old sepia steps. I hope its doing really well for you!

I like this. Your subject appears in stark contrast to all that stone.

Gorgeous. In general, most the kid pictures in this challenge don't seem like candids to me, but this is beautiful and seems to fit perfectly. Really well done.

The contrasting scale of the little one and the steps during a candid moment is a great capture. One issue with this image keeping it from being rated as a 10 is that the image is overally tall - it might have been better to crop the top steps off to the top at the second steps to help focus on the child. As it is, it's a very effective image and worth every point of a nine. A potential top ten, this is most certainly a top fifteen image and depending on other raters, maybe a ribbon. Well done.

Nice. Can you do selective coloring, black and white? Then keep the child in color? I do like this image.

FAntastic work! My early choice for the blue. The steps almost have a gradient and it frames the subject. Really nice work.10
