Obviously you made a good choice because you placed 7th but from your out takes I personally like the b/w lettuce better. Either way good going!!

Simply beautiful - plenty of detail and the subtle contrast with the background is perfect. A demonstration of how the combination of texture and color work in the natural world. This could have gone very wrong, but instead it went exactly right. A sure fire top ten contender and very possibly a ribbon winner. Well done.
