As you can see on the smudge (probably from dust on my image sensor), I did not do any spot editing.

Congratulations on your yellow!

A few things of thought from me.

There is a round stop right of the glass that could be cleaned up with a quick clone. (I know this was basic editing, but if you are thinking about improving/making a print.)

Although it is not so relevant in the larger photo, from a thumbnail perspective you can see that the horizon is fairly skewed. So try tilting right to get everything nice and straight.

I love the colors, and the subject, and I am glad you didn't use expensive film :). Great message that shows to me those who I know on this site that have never used film in their entire life that they are in fact part of the new generation of photography.

My last piece of criticism is that the actualy horizon line, where the thickness is a little bit thicker, is a little too distracting. Once again for improvements for your image, you could have clones thi out or blurred it slightly, just to direct less attention to it.

Once again, congratulations on a great shot and keep it up!

Congrats on the placing!

I loved the ingenuity of the shot on this and it sure put a smile on my face when I saw it.
I guess we all see something different in a shot, and only tagged yours as a 6, partially because the background & colors were just too vivid for me.

Again, congratulations!

Nice shot! Just disappointed that the "Photographer's Comments" box says "N/A". (Most folks here like details!)

The Colours in this are just great, but what is that thing in the glass? Is it something to do with Photography? :-).

Oh sure. Digital photographers are the judges, so you play to them. You're shameless. I like that!

I knew there would be photography and alcohol pictures in this challenge, but I never would have thought of combining the two. This is a great shot with really excellent colors.

I like the visual jest. I like the background, it sort of leaps out at you. I like the idea of using film as a garnish for the drink. Is that a nail with the olive glued to it? Really interesting photo.

I like the way the glass and the film roll, olive, etc. look but the colors of the bacjground look very much like they were created in photoshop detracting from an otherwise fine image

Nice over all colors, light and composition, lots of effort and it shows. I think I'd of liked the camera a bit higher to see into the glass. Good luck in the challenge.
