Ascent of Man! Very nice - trips our synapses just enough that we are reminded of the iconic image, but this image here is still completely and totally yours alone. Personally, I can see it as a progression from depressed/downtrodden to joyful/free. Glad to see you have been entering again recently.

Although the sense of motion is very muted here, there is something about this shot that really grabs the attention. It is almost ethereal, ghostly.

interesting abstract blob. And it must be moving because you say so.

Those figures are more out of focus than abstract motion.

This is my choice for Best Genuine Abstract in Challenge. It's abstract, and yet the intimation of it is apparent; there is not just movement, there is a sense of progression. It's movement from something to something. Onward and upward, in the evolutionary sense. In crude terms, it's like one of those Descent of Man illustrations with a chimp on the left and a person in a business suit on the right, and some intermediary stages in between. But of course, being abstract, it's much more stimulating than that. It suggests not just movement, not even just progression, but aspiration. And even if it doesn't mean anything at all, it's still great to look at, isn't it? 10. And an Order of the Thumb:

Definitely abstract, but I'm sorry, it doesn't really catch my interesting...

First thing I noticed was the noise, but I think it grew on me and I think it adds something to this. :)

The grain adds to the shot. Nicely processed.

Very abstract. It's just OOF enough to make my eyes try to focus on it which hurts after a while!
