Thanks for the supportive comments. Have been feeling far more comfortable submitting this kind of work, even if it hasn't gone over too well with the masses. I'd much rather the work appeal to you guys. It tells me more about how I'm doing, than a high score for a postcard ever could :)

This is sooooo good, and it's my favorite in the challenge. The movement, the grain, and the low level of saturation work really well together to make this a great photograph.

Great tones to this symphony. I think this would make a great postcard.

I couldn't agree more. This really stood out from the pack. Love the blue/green tones.

I just don't get this place.... but at least some did with those 7+ votes. Those that voted low need to open their minds a bit.

WOW - this is just awesome!

Back for a real comment. This is by far my fave of the challenge, it's so full of motion and music and that processing makes it seem like a dreamy painting. New fave.

Yes, the movement is translated into low frequency vibrations. So it's apt and very enjoyable. 7.

Great idea. I only wish the instrument were not perfectly vertical. I think it makes for a static composition.

Looks like the contrabass is made out of smoke! This is amazing and fits so well the spirit of the challenge. I hope it will win.
