I think this is just beautiful, Sandy. You may be right about those voters, but I would have scored this very high. |

My goodness this is gorgeous! I would have hit the 10 button in a heartbeat! It's so dreamy, and has a storybook quality that's timeless! I haven't gotten anything for that challenge either, but if I'd gotten this I would have entered it for sure! |

i try not to second guess the voters here. you have produced something that i think meets all the criteria and you might have done very well with this. the soft high key and comp is spot on. if you have another similar - enter it! |

Love the foggy/blurry feeling. I can see this as a lovely blank greeting card. |

Sandy, I feel exactly the same way you do and have also tried some 1 sec shots to no avail. Tomorrow I might try shooting my favorite waterfall again and see how that turns out. The unfortunate part about the 1 second challenge is we're not used to setting our exposure to 1 second and keeping it there. It's very restrictive and severely limits the possibilities. However, I think what you have achieved here with the snow geese is exceptional. I only wish I could manage something half as nice as this. I think it will do very well if you do decide to enter it. |

how beautiful and how sandy this image is ..
it actually looks like two birds .. love the gorgeous colours and dreamy quality .. WOW . !!!
& its so hard to gauge whether the voters are going to like something .. i think a lot of brilliant works of art dont get entered for fear of them being totally unappreciated .. this is one of those images .. i have no idea how it would have gone ... but would not have been surprised to see it on the first page .. :)
just had a look at your other comments .. but from experience the opinions in the side challenges dont always mimic opinions/votes in a real one .. :) |

This truly is masterful. Soft yet intriguing. I find the muted colors and dreamy quality overwhelmingly appealing. :~) |

This is exquisite Sandy. You don't think it's good enough for the challenge? Gee, I think I'dve given it 10. Anyway it's going in my favourites. |
