Indian ruins in Canyonlands National park. This is truly one of my favorite shots I've taken. I really hope some of you enjoy it as well. I really wish the halo in the rock upper left wasn't there but it's not from sharpening, I didn't apply any sharpening to this image at all. :)

Hoping for the best.

Too much contrast in the sun lit areas but the sky and shadow areas look really good. I would redo it and mask out the sun lit areas slightly.

This reminds me of a painting but I can't remember the title of it now... The black and white makes it seem like an alien landscape.

Well captured and presented. We've seen this in color many times ... the B&W gives us a new perspective. Thanks.

No wonder they built it there - look at the view. Great cloud formations, too.

There are some nice leading lines here but the whole image feels rather busy and difficult to view.

toning is great, using the arch to help frame the shot is well done

The post processing has given this somewhat of a cool, surreal aspect.

While I imagine this scene normally has strong red hues in the stone, I like that you took a different approach and went with black and white.

I think it was to bright or something. Maybe the wrong time of day. But the subject matter is really wonderful and the natural frame is very interesting.

Awesome processing to make the lighting look just perfect. Usually you'd lose some details in the shadows, but that you way you captured/edited this, you didn't.

Wow! Love the composition of this photo. You have the sweep of natural stone going across the top portion of the image while there is a lovely sweep of clouds that wash over this desert scene. Love the old Anasazi ruins you see here with the time worn Kiva. Natural beauty and the story of man and our ancient past, love the imagery you present us here. To me that stone arch is symbolic of how nature will eventually erode and cover over what man builds. Here the stone arch 'appears' like it is a wave ready to crash over what is left of the kiva. The B&W tones are very lovely. Well done and well presented.
