This is a beauty. I wish I had voted on all the Centered entries because I missed some very good shots. This has such a feel of traditional photography to it. I hope you make it available as a print.

This is one of the better shots I've ever seen on this site, IMO. It would make for a wonderful beginning to a series of 5-7 shots, all centered using similar subjects and the same post-processing. I would have given this a 10 if I was a member. Congrats.

I'd love this hanging on my wall, why don't you make a print? DPCprints said they don't send prints to my country :(, but Ill find some friend in another country to buy one for me.

This is a masterpiece. I didn't get to vote nor I participated in this challenge but damn, I'm shocked whenever a shot like this doesn't get what it deserves. Well better luck next time when there won't be so many frogs insects flowers and such in the challenge.

i think this is my favourite of the challenge. what a wonderful find. most people would move this out of the way to take the photo :) great burning around the perimeter, nice contrast, great use of grain. well done. P

I liike the way the corners are burned in to focus attention on the subject, the grain and the BW are great too. I'm not sure I care for the subject though. 6

This has a photojournalistic feel to it and I like it. The noise and purposeful vignetting add to the feel and focus attention. I wish the vignetting was a bit more even, other than that, good job.

Excellent shot. Looks like this came out of a Diana or Holga toy camera. The burning around the edges really frames the image well. Jacko. 10

Graininess gives a certain photojournalistic quality, especially with the vignetting. get a sense that there might have been some fascinating textures available here, but that you may have wiped them out a little with that level of contrast. 7

This has the feel of film; I like it very much. The grain and vignetting fit. Very interesting and unexpected subject - excellent choice going with black and white.

Ooh I like this a lot!! This is photojournalism style.. nice b/w (lots pure blacks and pure whites..great!) the grain adds that little more..wauw this one is really really great!! This one must score high, it must!!

Very Cool!! Love the graininess of the photo and the textures are great. I especially like the shadowing around the edges to bring more pop to the subject matter. Well Done!
