| not that it matters to me scoring wise, but as a matter of taste i wouldn't have the horizon so close to splitting the middle of the frame. the hues are incredible. you could probably sell a bunch of these very large. |

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1115 images, I gave 93 of them an 8. Your image was one of those 93, placing you well within the top 10% for this challenge.
Lots of water / sunset pics in this challenge, but this is one of my favourite ones.

| Wow. Excellent in so many ways. Love the color, detail, composition. The border adds impact, the low layer of clouds gives weight to the thirds. This is one of my favorites of what I've seen so far. Should be way up near the top. |

| Who doesn't like a photograph with cool blue with a dash of a warm sunset/rise in the middle. Very soothing, smooth and well lite. And did I mention the focus and DOF are nice as well. Good photograph. |

| Really special light and wonderful reflections. I'm not too keen on the black split screen framing on this, it is such a mellow, serene image the frame seems too heavy, but a beautiful photo. |

| Perfect blend of elements. Great balance of the reflections of the masts versus the horizontal elements. Needs the low cloud to give a strong broad horizontal element and the cloud also blocks the stronger light allowing the softer tones to come through in the sky and water. Beautiful colours to finish off. 10. |

| Voted earlier coming back for comments. The waters lay still in the early morning hours reflecting back the blue-violet hues of the sky above. Then teh orange yellow glow of the day dawning peaks up over the horizon as early boaters make their way to the docks for the start of the day. This is what story this picture tells me when I look upon it. The color clarity and hues are stunningly beautiful. Composition with boats on either side and the water channel acting as a leading line road off to the vanishing point to the horizon holds high visual appeal. |

| Wonderful perspective with terrific leading lines. I also like the framing. It serves very well to offset the centered composition of the horizon (which also works very well for this capture). |
