I arrived before dawn at the sand dunes to find the place packed with other photographers. We all selected our own sand dune, positioned a polite distance from each other, and waited for the sun to come up. This group of people must have come very early as they had claimed the highest sand dune. The sun rays had not yet reached the sand, but had just lit up the mountains in the background and the crowd was enjoying and photographing the spectacle.

Excellent colors. You capture the essense that human being is so small in big scheme. I really like this. Good Luck.

This is so surreal - and I love surreal! The fluid movement of the composition and the visceral tones are stellar. Quite a piece of art.

You have given us a dramatic photo on several levels. A dramatic abstract. A dramatic landscape. And a dramatic adventure. The composition with 3 diagonal stripes, as it were, gives us a lot of motion, which I appreciate. And the four figures at the crest of the dune make us care and give a sense of scale. Among best of show.

Very different. It bothers me a bit that the image looks tilted to the left, and I'm wondering if it is intentional. If so, to my eyes it is not working, not so much because of the people tilting, but because of the backdrop, the pinkish hills behind the people. It is interesting to look at though. Added to favourites. ~9

Great colours and tones in this. A shame the people aren't a little sharper.
Maybe a little Unsharp mask on them would have helped
