 *Taken during the Seeing the Un-seen challenge. I was going to submit this, but used a Times Square shot instead since I had felt this was too dark of a photo.

This is a different version of the image in my portfolio titled "Broadway on strike" and its a little darker too. I took this during the writers strike 2 years ago, its gotten a fair share of comments here on DPC, but not enough!! Lol, It's an ok shot, nothin great, but I personally like the pedestrians and how they are all doing their own thing.

The shot is almost straight out of the camera, I took the original RAW file and played with levels a bit, thats all. The image in my portfolio was heavily dodged and burned, and cropped tighter than this, not sure which is better, I'll leave it up to the DPC'ers to tell me. :)

I like this night street scene. Nicely balanced. The marquee is a strong focal point, but the pedestrians on the far left really add interest. Great details.

I didn't realize "Les Mis" was still on Broadway. Terrific street scene. I love all of the deep rich shadow tones.

The Shubert ... one of my old favorite theatres. I like the feeling you've capturd here. But I am bothered just a little that the bottom frame border is heavier (whiter?) than the top frame border. You shot this with a wide angle lens which causes things to "lean in." I would have straightened the verticals, but that's a personal preference.
