Nah I don't, I am very content and happy with my life.

I wanted an image that showed a feeling or personality trait abstractly. That is, I didn't want to photograph something like my favourite things or my hobbies because I believe that your feelings and personality define who you are much more than material things.

I went to a beach for a walk and to take photographs. I found this feather tangled up in some wire. I took pics of it and then though it would be good for the challenge if it were trapped in a barbed wire fence. Coincidentally, I had just come from photographing some horses in a field and the field was fenced with barbed wire. So I took the feather and went back to the field. I stuck the feather in the fence and took a ton of pictures. It was really windy and I had no way to shield the wind. So there is movement in the feather, but I think that adds to the feeling I am trying to portray.

I just hope the voters get it.

I saw this during the challenge and skipped it regrettably. I can easily get depressed when viewing photos! But it only means that this image is very strong.

PostLuminous Award Nominee!
This is wonderful, captures your mood, and the tones are not bright and warm/cheery, but muted and cool... Well done.

Nice concept. Would have liked to see it a tad lighter but still a nice shot all the same.

The interpretation is ok, the colours are great, contrasting well. The sharp focus on the feather? and then the tail being blown about gives the movement impression as if struglling to get free! I love the rusting texture of the barbed wire and the soft green background. Very good.

this could also be a shot by JDubsgirl, I sense a young person's yearning for freedom. 8

this is the kind of image I was looking for for this challenge. I like the use of shallow DoF and the color seems come alive when it needs it.

I actually like the fact that you have motion in the feather. It gives meaning to the title. Very nice.

I love this, I love the dof, the colors, the texture of the feather.

I really like this shot because of the DoF and the whole beauty (feather) vs. beast (barbed wire) theme. Not sure if that's what you were going for but that's what I see in it.
