On a blue lake this would have been a world class shot.

stunning judi .. such an eye catching and brilliant shot .. if this was mine and i got all those low scores .. 18 of 3 or less .. i'd be starting to think there was a conspiracy going on .. definitely WTF . !!!
i'm shaking my head in disbelief ..

Trippy ! Underrated too! Most wanted to see more puzzle pieces? This image is boggling indeed...poor shawl, and an interesting seat...

I like this... it's puzzling. *grin*

Just to help a bit, if I can...I think that if her eyes/cup had been cropped to be placed a bit behind her... at the one third/one third mark that this would have scored higher. As is, it seems as if she's 'running off the page' a bit. Not much... see the score... but still...her whole being is over halfway through the image.

I also was convinced you would end in the top 3 as I indicated in my comment during voting. Surprised and a bit disappointed that you finished out of the placings. Still, to me it remains a winner.
Ps. Finishing in 20th place out of 167 entries is also not bad at all of course. It's those undeserved 1's, 2's, 3's and 4's that sunk your chances.

I was absolutely certain this would win and voted it 10 myself. I'm very disappointed to see this on 20th place.
Clearly you received a bunch of 1,2,3 and 4's (33 to be exact!!) since users couldn't see the puzzle in it. It was without a doubt puzzling to me why anyone (especially a gorgeous hottie!) would want to sit in the water on a chair half under, in a partly submerged evening dress, sipping tea...
The water may be a little murky but you made up for it with perfect "Simpson's" clouds, exellent pose and a very well executed shot over all.

ETA: If this shows up in your next book, I'll have to buy a copy! :)

I could not believe this wasn't at least on the front page. I expected to see it in the top 3! Not quite sure how that happened. I love it though. Very nicely done!

Awesome photo.

Love the idea. A shame the water is so muddy. Get a filter ;)

really, really well done. How she got out there without getting the dress soaked is beyond me.

This is beautiful. The clouds, the water, the color of the chair, the clothes... everything flows together. What can I say except absolutely stunning?

The sky really makes this photo work, matching the footstool is key. 9

Surreal. I like the way the sky matches the chair, the pose, the colours and the sentiment. The only really minor niggle is the disturbance to the horizon at the right hand side. - 8.

Love this shot... only thing that would have made it even more puzzling to em would have been if you could have got the blue seat submerged so you couldn't see it. But totally amazing shot the wind in her hair the color of the sky.. couldn't ask for more!!

I applaud you for thinking out of the box and presenting us with something that's refreshingly different from most of the other entries in this challenge. Also you executed it superbly from a both a technical and photographic viewpoint.
Lovely model too by the way.
Just the tiniest of niggles....nothing can ever be 100% perfect of course ;)...there's a little patch of reeds on the far right of the picture just under the shoreline that I would have removed by cropping it out. I can see this entry finishing in the top three. 9

Holy cow! Fantastic imagery. LOVE the matching colors of the sky and foot stool. LOVE the creamy water and the horizontal dark horizon - which could equally be detracting. This is going to finish high - at least in my book.
