Four attempts to get this shot - it was maddening! Every night I returned to get these colours and each time they failed me. I had to keep processing to work out how to achieve these blues and finally it occurred to me that i should just change the RAW white balance to tungsten. Hello!!!! how obvious is that. Anyway, finally my blue colours were achieved and go forth, my entry...

Hello,
Outstanding capture. Love the vivid blue color. everything is nice and sharp. Image has lots of interest. The composition is very well done, and I like the use of the pole it gives the image a nice scale. The border fits well here also. A very nice job getting the motion in the wheel made for a great point of interest and imho brought the whole image to life. Congrats, terrfic capture.

While I think the title and the cool colours are the only things linking this to the DNMC brown, I think this photo is awesome. The colours are serene, and shutter speed choice is perfect. 8 from me. Boosting a 9 after voting for all the others.
