No electricity or cable all week kept my thought processes to a minimum...we were cold and we (in SE Missouri) were tired of waiting for the Ice to melt...so I drove the 28 miles to Poplar Bluff..and uploaded the 2 recent challenge entries without regard to scores or I thought that they were even good enough in the long run...lol...we (Sandi and I)..were just trying to normalize our life...as mother nature hit us with a roundhouse punch to the Psyche...lol

To the Photo...
this was an attempt to imitate an old western photo with added grain and the heat of an Arizona summer... it is actually a small nylon rope (tied with the Hangmans Noose) hanging over the door of our wooden cabinet for our TV...It is a macro..and processed in a very stark and dark way.. and the "Rope" is less than 6 inches long... the Score...I really didn't care, I wasn't in the mood...maybe it deserved the four..maybe it didn't.

I thought it turned out fine..and basically I accomplished what I set out to do...

I can imagine that using one of those on someone will result in the victim being silenced but the overall feeling that I get from this image is not one of "Silence" 4

Someone once said that "assassination is the most extreme form of censorship" - I guess this image fits in with that theme. I might be wrong but there does seem to be a bit of a blown highlight on the left side of the noose. Nice concept though - original but germane to the theme.
