 The sprayer was in the sun, the trees behind in the shade. Spotmetered the sprayer and spray and worked from there. That together with a shallow DOF darkened the background which had a nice affect. From there it was a matter of getting the SS right to capture some movement in the drops/spray, but to also freeze the sprayer which was wiggling about.

Then cropped, upped the saturation quite a bit, adjusted light, colortone, contrast. Sharpened, resize, sharpened, saved for Web.

Thanks - this a new was a personal best for me. So there was some gold at the bottom of te rainbow!

Great capture... as soon as I looked at this I heard the sprinkler.
For me this is the best shot in the challenge.
