Love the composition and the lighting is absolutely wonderful. Love how the main focus is the first egg in the foreground showing the viewer the lovely oval shape. Our eye then travels out to the surrounding eggs that travel back in the in the background. Tones and contrasts are great. Love how the lighting is very complementary. Love the way the light and shadows fall nicely on the eggs illuminating them - very pleasing to the eye.

I like the horizon of curves and the use of black and white. Good perspective.
04/14/2002 09:49:00 PM
Nice detail on the front egg. I thought this photo very creative.
04/14/2002 03:53:00 PM
Very excellent! You turned an average, normal subject into a spectacularly beautiful photo! Strange, though - I count twelve...
04/14/2002 03:42:00 PM
great idea. I woulda liked more depth but you done good
04/14/2002 12:19:00 PM
The focus and detail are excelent
04/13/2002 10:23:00 PM
ohhhhhh.... eleven EGGS... got it
04/13/2002 02:19:00 PM
Good lighting. The pattern in this picture also amplifies the "curve" message.
04/13/2002 01:45:00 AM
I see the twelth on the left side. Cool shot though, black and white works here.
04/12/2002 04:10:00 PM
nice depcition of the theme, but to me the photo lacks something. Here's an idea...Instead of having just eleven eggs, have many more that fade into the background. I like the use of black and white
04/12/2002 02:09:00 PM
very neat shot!
04/11/2002 01:04:00 AM
Great photo, great curves, and apt title. :)
04/10/2002 02:38:00 PM
Wait ... I can see the twelfth egg just off on the left! Haha! Your title is wrong! :)
04/10/2002 12:32:00 PM
Great composition and very well focused.
04/10/2002 12:14:00 PM
I am feeling sick to my stomach that I did not submit one of my own egg shots. This is a very nice picture.

8 is a much curvier number. So's nine. Love the photo. Slightly dark from here.

04/09/2002 02:34:00 PM
Are you sure it's not 'Twelve'?
04/09/2002 12:29:00 PM
Great detail, nice exposure.
04/09/2002 11:39:00 AM
i love this picture. it looks like a 3d render i once did called 'the eggs go to the beach.' cool!
04/09/2002 09:51:00 AM
Excellent contrast.
04/09/2002 08:29:00 AM
this is a good shot. i like the detail on the front egg and wish some of that was carried on to the others. maybe more depth of field would have helped this a bit.
04/09/2002 07:55:00 AM
I love this shot! lighting is great !
04/09/2002 07:40:00 AM
i'm just picking out striking photos from the thumbnails. yours really rocks! how the heck do you get those PORES on the egg? beautiful.
04/09/2002 07:28:00 AM
dang, wish i'd thought of this!
04/09/2002 06:04:00 AM
nifty.
04/08/2002 10:51:00 PM
Sometimes simple is better. Good job. I gave it a 10.
04/08/2002 09:29:00 PM
Great shot nice concept, would have liked it better if you had alot more eggs and could keep up a pattern to fill the frame.
04/08/2002 05:22:00 PM
GREAT capture ! I like this !
04/08/2002 04:24:00 PM
Interesting lighting - perhaps a lower angle would have given a clearer terminator line in the foreground.
04/08/2002 04:06:00 PM
Good DOF..
04/08/2002 03:14:00 PM
I like the perspective

I'm sure you haven't heard this already but this is an EGGcellent photograph. It is my runner up for the win in this challenge. I can see the fine detail in the surface of this front egg. At first, I thought there was a dirty spec on the upper left of this front egg, but it was a dirty spot on my monitor. I fixed that and I'm scoring you a 9. The only reason this doesn't get a 10 is because I'm only giving one 10 and I have another favorite.... Well, I think I will give two 10's this time because you have done a great job with this photo.... It's EGGciting and maybe a bit EGGcentric but it's still one of the best. Score: 10 -- Good luck!
04/08/2002 12:40:00 PM
I like.
04/08/2002 12:16:00 PM
I'm surprised more people didn't attempt this shot, very well done. The focusing is right on, the texture of the eggs looks great - definitely fits the challenge, what else can I say?
04/08/2002 09:44:00 AM
Fantastic. Lovely lighting and shade. Only nit is too much unused space at the top.
04/08/2002 08:37:00 AM
Great job. I like this in black and white. The shadows and subltle lighting makes this a fantastic entry.
04/08/2002 07:06:00 AM
Now we're talking. If it weren't for that whitish "smudge" or whatever it is, this would be great. 8.
04/08/2002 07:00:00 AM
so simple, yet so well done :)
04/08/2002 02:19:00 AM
nice use of b&w I love this picture.
04/08/2002 12:24:00 AM
so cool--great idea!
