I don´t like the crop and the high key technique. I love it!! Congrats on your 5ht place, Tim.

Hey Tim, glad you're back. Actually it looks like your wife. You can always shot neighbors, friends and kid's friends, too, "Too". Well done. I always like a partial 2nd eye so it doesn't lool like a Cyclops. Unless the whole head is seen and only hair is covering the one eye.

Geez... another picture of your kid? Can't you try something new? You people and your kids...

Looks like a Too.. .but it's a bit noisy... I dunno...

I like the wide-eyed look.

I do not think the overexposed technique, not the crop, helps this image in this case.....

I'm fairly certain you won a challenge about a year ago with a very similar shot, yes? Anyway, I hope this does well for you, too. Your catch of her iris pattern is beautiful. I'm more and more suspect of "letterbox" frames as I think they lend something to the photos that aren't inherent in the photo itself -- leaves me always trying to imagine the photo without the frame!

Awesome photo. Maybe bring the thickness of the borders down just a bit... Also, have you tried doing a selective de-sat to leave the color of the eyes? Just a thought...

I think the eye overpowers the glasses

As you've said many times before, she really does do high-key well :) Beautiful image!

I like the sharpness of the eyes compared to the grainyness of the rest of the shot.

stunning sharpness and perfect dof. just a little too high key for me but not a big deal. also liked the odd composition. nice job.

Great sharpness , but not sure about the grain.

Nice eyes, but for me I find the crop on the right a bit distracting and would have preferred you to have croped the righthand eye out completely and given me some more of the black space on the left to set it off and make me think, but I'm no artist lol

Most animated of the shots. Just commenting right now.

Front page stuff for sure. Incredible detail on the eyes, while still keeping focus on the glasses. One of my choices to ribbon.

Great shot and a very nice composition. They eyes show evidence of an umbrella but give them an interesting sparkle. Smart choice of b/w. I marked this as a 6 in my initial pass but changing it to a 7 now after spending more time viewing it.
