 My first submission in almost a year...

I guess this is the closest I'll ever come to the DPC template. I am sure my Photoshop skills have let me down a bit, the image still has the over-done HDR look to it. After the challenge I might ask an expert here to show me how to really process this into DPC ribbon material.

I guess this is the closest I'll ever come to a high score in a Free Study. I had the perfect location (btw it's Santorini, Greece) and lighting so only my photo and photoshop skills have held me back here.

I very much appreciate some of the great comments I got. I just feel a little bit guilty of the fact that the lighting that many liked isn't all that natural, this is an HDR of 3 exposures. I'll post an original later today. On the other hand, most winning landscapes here are HDR'ed, so that's that...

I can't believe this didn't score higher. It's a great image. You should have it listed for DPC Prints. It would do well in travel agencies and travel mags. The composition and colours are wonderful. Nice work.

Surely one of my top ten -- beautiful exposure of soft light in the sky and the electric lights below. This could grace the cover of a travel magazine.

This is the kind of picture people love hanging on walls. Perhaps some levels and contrast tweaking would really make this picture pop
