 Total shoehorn, but I was riding a horse in the Tournament of Roses this morning, so no midnight celebration (or photography) for me. Was smiling when I found at least a few "natural" fireworks in my mother's garden this evening. Taken at dusk with flash fill.

A little bit of a shoehorn but these flowers do look like fireworks. A bit closer crop to isolate the red flower might have helped here.

Very creative. I love the idea. Nice colors, perhaps a bit grainy and oversaturated on the bloom.

This is "Clever", but won't cut it. The whole excersize is to see who can handle the lighting, exposure and timing of the fireworks the best. The combination of the different elements make it quite a challenge. To photgraph a flower is an opt-out of the real issues at play in this challenge.
