The tones are deliciously cool and satisfying. I love what the LB does to trees and branches...it turns them into something so different...more alive.

Ah, a simple yet compelling image. Who'd have thought that something little more than a twig provoked your first few comments Karen.

The little tree is so much more the focal point here than it would be with a regular lens and a shallow DOF. I really like effect. Lovely shot, and I like the b&w and the light in the background.

I like how the tree is both isolated from and enveloped by the surrounding trees.

First I like the tone, stresses the monotony that trees can posses in presence of other trees, a miss the tree for the forest so to speak. I also like how the lensbaby isolates the tree to make it stand out among the crowd, a look at me that they all have but that gets lost in the chaos of the woods.

This is terrific. It's like the technical specifications of "tree" overlaid on the emotional context of "tree" all in one :-)
