The little tree is so much more the focal point here than it would be with a regular lens and a shallow DOF. I really like effect. Lovely shot, and I like the b&w and the light in the background.

| I like how the tree is both isolated from and enveloped by the surrounding trees. |

| First I like the tone, stresses the monotony that trees can posses in presence of other trees, a miss the tree for the forest so to speak. I also like how the lensbaby isolates the tree to make it stand out among the crowd, a look at me that they all have but that gets lost in the chaos of the woods. |
