Post Challenge:

Wow! I open up DPC to find my FS entry on the front page! Thanks to those who voted and helped me meet my DPC goals for 2008. It took the last entry of the year but I can’t believe I finally scored above 7 (goal #1) and got my first ribbon (goal #2) after almost five years here at DPC. As for my only other DPC goal for 2008, to get into the top ten of FSM, we’ll have to wait and see if I can jump that far.

Thanks again for all the votes and comments. This shot was definitely one of my best eagle shots to date and a load of fun to take. Oh crap! Now what do I enter for the Best of 2008?

Dramatic! Top notch capture.
The sad thing for me is that there are lots of pictures of birds of prey on this site where people have simply gone to a zoo or bird park and they've won ribbons for it. Your picture is a thousand times more satisfying, and yet where will it finish?
Let's hope on the front page - 10
