This broken down building is a couple miles from my house. The people, candles and text are from a little old greeting card (adding the ghostly folks as a tribute to RKT's series here and the frame inspired by cogerox's image here .
This is one of my famous 'snap the picture while you're driving down the street' images.

Processing:
Try to take the wonky distortion out (I know it's still distorted :-)
Crop
Color Efex Pro Tonal Contrast
Color Efex Pro Polarization
Color Efex Pro Bi-Color Filters
Greeting card as overlay
Texture overlay
Hue/Saturation to tone down color
Paint sliver of sky with white on new layer, soft light mode (like dodging only less destructive IMO)
Resize

Here's a version without the silly card overlay:

Beautifully done! It does appear that the writing is really on the building. Love it!

I like how it almost appears as if the writing is actual graffiti on the whitewash. Bit of a spooky effect, to boot.

The card makes for some unusually sedate-looking graffiti.

The text from the old card works in so well with the building. Excellent PP! : )

I like the combo deal here with the old card and the building - very well integrated into a cohesive whole. And great shot for a drive by!

Outstanding. You are so creative! I wasn't sure at first if the ghostly people were from one of your old family photos. ;)

OH WOW. Makes me think of some of the work RKT did with her old images blended with new ones. Terrific photo and the title is outstanding. Loving this so much. :~)

I was thinking that looked familiar. While I'm not sure I've seen that one in particular, it is so reminiscent of so many old abandoned buildings scattered across NM. I like the overlay.
