ah i like this! my only problem is i cant decide whether to focus on the ball or the guy, since they are both in focus. i like how the guy pops out of the background, not sure how you did that but it looks great

This is very cool.. looks like it should be on the pages of SI. My only issue is the chopping off at the ankles. However, I think the way you lit the upper half of the body minimizes this.

HDR and smoothing are over the top. I think a real basketball has texture. other than that a good workmanlike photo.
