 Processed from RAW in ACR and CS3.

Slight crop to more square aspect ratio. Hue/Sat adjustment layer to amp up horizon colors. Hi-pass sharpening. Duplicate layer set to soft light mode. A little very detailed cloning work to reduce chromatic aberration around moon.

NO Neat Image, NO shadow/highlight, NO Tone Mapping :-)

Shot 30 mins or so after sunset, looking southwest.

Nice one R. I had the same colours going but in the morning. I over saturated the colours though, and paid for it with a 5.4 score.

Good to see you got to view them close together like that. I had to wait until Tuesday but at least I saw them.

I like the way you added interest by including the ground cover in the shot, I am not sure how often the moon lines up like that but it was an awesome sight. Good capture
